As the world of education is ever changing our classrooms must shift to parallel new pedagogies in order to foster 21st century skills.
What are the factors that directly influence 21st century learning? The answer; “student collaboration.” However, as education takes on a more active learning approach, we often find ourselves limited to the constraints of a more passive learning environment. A factor which plays a vital role but is often overlooked is the physical learning environment. How does the physical learning space influence student learning? Learning spaces can either promote or inhibit student collaboration either physically or psychologically, influencing how students think and feel. |
